Our Savior’s Youth+ group will meet this Sunday, September 23, 3 p.m. in the Youth Room for a servant event. Mankato REACH serves literally 100’s of area youth who are at-risk of or are experiencing homelessness for many different reasons. They “couch surf” to homes of family and friends, but are lacking a true home of their home. At our servant event this Sunday we’ll be packing 24 draw string bags with essential hygiene and comfort items to be given to each new kid who comes in. We’ll also be collecting your unused sweatshirts, coats, hats, boots, and so on for their clothing bank since most kids left these things behind during better weather. Tasha Moulton, the Program Manager for the REACH Drop-In Center will be here to tell us more about the program.
