Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! (Psalm 107:1)
The end of the year is fast approaching. The leaves are changing and will soon be falling and the season of Thanksgiving will soon be here. On Saturday 4th from 3:30-5:30 PM , Our Savior’s is asking for your help in cleaning up around the outside of the church and other properties that can use our assistance.
In addition to the traditional fall clean-up we are trying to find other ways for people of all ages and abilities to give back and show their thanks and praise to God. Cookie baking, cookie decorating, prayer-shawl construction, and card making will also be happening during this time. (The cookies will be delivered around the neighborhood)
So please come if you can:
– participate raking and leaf removal
– sit at a table and watch kids make mess with sprinkles
– read a recipe and give directions
– knit or crochet (and maybe want to teach others)
– want to learn to knit or crochet
– play with kids in the nursery
– color or write
– sit and talk with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ of all the reasons we have to thank our wonderful God
As always, we will have dinner and a bonfire to follow! Contact the Board of Education with any questions.
