This week our Minnesota Governor “turned back the dial” by adding certain new restrictions. What does this mean for our congregation?
The Governor and other speakers were clear that churches have NOT been a significant place of spreading for the disease. As a result, the new restrictions do NOT impact anything we have presently been doing. Therefore, we will continue with the same service times and activities as they were described in the November Voice and shown on our home page.
At the same time, we encourage everyone to consider their own health, medical advice, and personal situations in deciding how best to participate in worship. You can still come to worship in person on Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. or Wednesdays at 1:30. On Wednesdays the group is smaller and it appears to include more people who are distancing. You can come at worship times and listen in our parking lot through your FM radio at 106.1. If you want communion brought to your car, please park next to the building and an usher should bring you a bulletin.
We now also have “live” worship which you can access from the link at the top right of our webpage. If you can’t come “live” you can view previous recordings. These recordings are then also broadcast on Access KTV on local cable TV through Charter/Spectrum and Consolidated Communications.
If you are isolating at home, Pastor Lauer, who is also isolating, is available to bring you Holy Communion at your request. Just call the church office to make an appointment. (Sue has the schedule.)
