Bible study is an important part of the Christian life. Our Savior’s offers a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages to learn about what the Bible teaches. These opportunities include:
- Sunday Morning Bible Class is led by Pastor Matheny meets from 9:15-10:15 am in the Sanctuary. The current topic is The Miracles of Jesus in Matthew.
- The Book Club meets the 2nd & 4th Sundays at 4:30pm and is led by Pastor Matheny. They are currently discussing Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry.
- Early Bird Bible Study meets Monday mornings at 6:30am in the Library. It’s led by Matt Brand, and they’re finishing up Psalm 23
- The Tuesday Bible Study meets on the 2nd and 4th at 1:00pm in the Library and takes an in-depth look at books of the Bible. This is led by Deaconess Lisa and is beginning the Gospel of Luke
- For Faith and Life Discussions come Wednesday at 5:15pm to the chapel. This fall we’re using the book “Family Trees and Olive Branches” by Christina Hergenrader. Discussion led by Deaconess Lisa
- Men’s Group meets the 2nd Thursday at 7:30pm and is beginning the book of Ephesians led by Pastor Matheny.
- Family Potluck and Study gathers at 5:30pm on the 4th Thursday. Bring the kids!
- Various Women’s Groups meet throughout the month:
- Widow-to-Widow – 2nd Monday at 11:30am for potluck and study
- Mary Circle – 4th Thursday at 2:00pm
- Rebekah Circle – 4th Tuesday at 1:00pm
- Ruth/Lydia Circle – 1st Thursday at 1:30pm
