We live to make Christ known.

Maundy Thursday Observance

The name “Maundy” Thursday comes from the word for “command” (as in mandate). On this night Jesus said to His disciples: “A new command I give you. Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34) Later in that same meal, Jesus commanded His disciples, “Do this in remembrance of me.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

Below you will find an audio of the sermon which was to be delivered on this day. Then you can watch the traditional stripping of the altar on Maundy Thursday. Finally, below that is a video which describes the Passover meal as Jesus may have observed it.
