About the Cover: Fireworks celebrate a nation’s founding and freedom. Fireworks of flowers express the joy of salvation given with God’s loving care to Jerusalem, the Church. With the death and resurrection of God’s Son, Jesus the Christ, we know the wondrous hand of the Lord who comforts us.
Sunday School does not meet today due to the holiday, but will resume next week at 9:15 in the Fellowship Hall. It’s not too late to join us, and everyone is welcome!
If you haven’t had a chance to see the beautiful artwork our Sunday School students are making this summer, please take a moment to do so today. We have a great big rainbow in the narthex, a great big “Jacob’s Ladder” in the hallway between the men’s and women’s restrooms, and a great big starry sky (for God’s promise to Abraham) in the Fellowship Hall! So, as you can see, we are learning about and rejoicing in the promises of God!
